This policy explains what personal data GenScript Biotech Corporation ("we", "us") collects when you use genscriptpeptides.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it deliberately plain.

2. What we collect

• Order details you enter at checkout: name, email address, delivery address, phone number (optional), the items ordered, the amount and the payment method you chose.
• Support correspondence: the emails you send to our support addresses and our replies.
• Payment status: whether an order has been paid, and for crypto payments the transaction reference. We do not receive or store card numbers; card payments are handled entirely by the payment provider you choose at checkout.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the warehouse/currency you select, collected through server logs and analytics cookies.

We do not collect data about health, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Our products are sold to adult research customers only.

3. Why we use it (and the legal basis)

• To fulfil your order - take payment, dispatch the goods, send order confirmation, payment and shipping emails, and answer your questions (performance of a contract).
• Order reminders - if you placed an order but did not complete payment, we may send a short reminder about that order. Every reminder carries a one-click unsubscribe; using it stops all such reminders permanently (legitimate interests, with an immediate opt-out).
• Fraud prevention, security and legal compliance - including responding to lawful requests (legal obligation and legitimate interests).
• Improving the site - aggregate analytics about how pages are used (legitimate interests; analytics cookies can be declined).

We do not sell personal data, and we do not send newsletters or marketing campaigns to customers who have not asked for them.

4. Who we share it with

• Couriers - name, address and phone number, to deliver your order.
• Payment providers - the provider you choose at checkout processes your payment under its own privacy policy; we receive confirmation of payment, not your card details.
• Email delivery services - our transactional emails are sent through email infrastructure we operate and, where used, reputable email service providers, solely to deliver the messages described above.
• Hosting, DNS and analytics providers - to run the website.
• Authorities - where the law requires it.

Each of these providers only receives what it needs for its task. Some are located outside your country; where data leaves the UK/EEA we rely on the provider's standard contractual safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle any refund, replacement or dispute, and meet our accounting and legal obligations. Support correspondence is kept while it is useful for handling your enquiry and any follow-up. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you. If you ask us to delete your data (section 7) we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies (your cart, warehouse and currency selection, checkout session) and analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site will still work, though your cart may not persist between visits.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR) you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to complain to your data-protection authority. To stop order reminders, use the unsubscribe link in any reminder or email us.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, order data is held in access-controlled systems, and card data never touches our servers. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever became aware of a breach affecting your data we would tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
